Art gallery in Bristol to host American exhibition
Those heading for a stag weekend in Bristol next week could go to the city's American Museum to check out an ongoing exhibition called American Beauty.
The event showcases craft art from 19th century America and features more than 100 pieces.
And with the weather turning a bit chilly this week, those on a stag weekend in Bristol could find it ideal to visit the exhibition and spend a couple of hours in the warm indoors.
Included in the show are sculptures and paintings and with the What's On Bristol website noting that some pieces have been especially cleaned just for this particular exhibition, this weekend could be the best time to visit the craft show.
"These treasures have never looked better during their time at the museum - perhaps not since they were first made," the site noted.
Also currently running at the museum is an exhibition of maps drawn by Flemish engraver Theodor de Bry, which show some of the earliest images of native American people.
