A new interpretation to stag weekends in Bristol
Stags heading away on stag weekends in Bristol this weekend could find they have the opportunity to immortalise their experience through interpretative dance and theatre.
At the Bristol Old Vic Paintshop on Saturday, October 17th, Playback Theatre is due to have its first airing, offering a unique element of audience participation.
Breathing Fire - Bristol Black Women's Playback Theatre Company and the Bristol Playback Theatre Company are collaborating on the project, reports Theatre Bristol.
During the show, audience members are called upon to come up on stage and tell the performers of notable moments in their life - which may well include stag weekends in Bristol for those about to get married.
Once their experiences have been shared, the performers then give their own interpretation through the medium of music, dance and song.
The performance is part of Bristol Jam, a celebration of performing arts that is being held until October 24th at Bristol Old Vic.
