Art show could make for creative stag weekend in Nottingham

Men planning a stag weekend in Nottingham who fancy doing something a little different could be interested to hear about the Passion2Print art show.

Set to run until October 18th, the free to enter art show showcases the best of work from the Leicester Print Workshop.

"Passion2Print is a showcase for contemporary printmaking; it presents high quality original pieces produced by artists practicing in our region," according to the Visit Nottingham website.

The show promises to be "vibrant and varied" and could add a creative aspect to a stag weekend in Nottingham.

Visitors to the show will be able to see demonstrations of a number of different art techniques, including etchings, monoprints, collagraphs, woodcuts, linocuts and gum arabic transfer printer.

Those on a stag weekend in Nottingham may want to take advantage of the city's many bars and clubs after visiting the show.

Visitors could head to the Canalhouse pub, which is in a museum and which actually has a canal running through it.
