Bristol stag weekend could involve burlesque show

Men searching for the ideal way to spend a stag weekend in Bristol could find that a trip to the theatre makes for a stag night to remember.

Running between October 1st and 3rd, the Sugar Beast Circus will be showing at the Bristol Old Vic and its promises to be an interesting show.

According to the Theatre Bristol website, the show is "part burlesque, part natural history museum, set inside a series of miniature circus tents".

The show is set to feature burlesque dancers and the site promised it will be "alluring", which could make it the ideal choice for those on a stag night in Bristol.

Mysteriously, the site also said that to get an idea of what the show may be like, people should imagine "Darwinian theory meets sequinned showgirls".

If it all sounds a bit too cultured for those planning a stag night in Bristol, the We Will Rock You musical is also in town until the end of October.
