Car show "could be ideal activity for a stag weekend in Edinburgh"

Car-mad stags taking a holiday in Edinburgh for their stag weekend could check out the Magnificent Machines show which is set to be held in the city later this month.

Next Saturday and Sunday, (September 26th and 27th), those on a stag weekend in Edinburgh can see monster trucks, classic and vintage cars, fire engines and traction steam engines at the event, which will be held at the National Museum of Flight in east Lothian.

Visitors can also have a go inside the cockpit of a real aircraft, which could make their stag weekend in Edinburgh an event to remember.

As well as aircrafts and cars, the event will also feature a quad bike track, go-karting and fairground attractions.

For those on a stag weekend in Edinburgh who fancy a little bit of culture, the Celebrate Linlithgow event could be ideal.

Set to run until November 1st, the festival will include music, dance, drama, literature and film.
