Newquay stag weekends: Stansted-Newquay flights cut

Lads heading from the capital to a stag weekend in Newquay will not be able to fly from Stansted with Ryanair from the end of September after the airline announced it is to scrap the route.

However, it does not mean boys heading to Newquay stag weekends will struggle to get there, as there are many other airlines that will take them, Teresa Timms, public relations manager at Visit Cornwall, says.

"Obviously we are disappointed, but there are another seven flights a day from Gatwick to Newquay through Flybe and Air SouthWest, so the country is very well served," she told the news provider.

Meanwhile, Bob Atkinson, an expert from travelsupermarket.com, recently claimed that coastal resorts such as Newquay are proving very popular with British holidaymakers, those planning a stag night in Newquay will be interested to hear.
