Cardiff stag weekends "have plenty to offer"

A stag weekend in Cardiff will provide lots of fun for everyone, with the city one of the top ten short break destinations in the world, according to a travel guide.

Lonely Planet has listed the Welsh capital alongside places such as Sardinia and Portugal, WalesOnline reports, meaning anyone charged with being a best man may want organise a Cardiff stag weekend to make sure all the boys have a great time.

Writer Matt Bolton told the news provider that St Mary's street is the party area where lads on a stag night in Cardiff will probably go, however, there is lots more going on.

"Cardiff has plenty to offer. It has a really good music scene and food festivals. Going down to the Bay on a weekend can be quite a classy experience. People are starting to become more aware of that side of the city," he said.

Meanwhile, a post on the Young Pioneers Travel Blog recently claimed that every day is party time in the city.
