Blackpool stag weekends: Blackpool "is back on the map"

Those in charge of organising their best mate's stag celebrations should organise a stag weekend in Blackpool, as the resort is back on the map as one of the country's top destinations.

Businesswoman Pat Mancini told the Blackpool Gazette that the recession has hit the town hard but things have picked up in recent months, with lads arranging Blackpool stag weekends and families making their way back.

The hotel owner said her establishment is attracting more people and this resurgence in visitors is boosting the resort's reputation as a great place to stay.

"Blackpool is back on the map and many people are working hard to re-establish it as one of the most popular destinations in Britain," she told the newspaper.
