Lads attending a stag weekend in Edinburgh will find everything they could possibly want and more in the city, it has been claimed.

Edinburgh council leader Jenny Dawe says that the recent UK City Bucket List by Travelodge, which found that the Scottish capital is the place most people want to see before they die, is proof of how great it is, which will please guys heading away to an Edinburgh stag weekend.

She states that those going on a stag night in Edinburgh will find history, culture and natural beauty and it is because of these qualities that people desperately want to see it.

"This result is further great news for the city and confirms what we all know - Edinburgh is a great place in which to live, work, invest and visit," Ms Dawe adds.

Meanwhile, a post on Fly Destination recently stated that a stag party in Edinburgh will be one of the best occasions ever and a truly memorable experience.
