Edinburgh and Leeds "have great countryside"

Lads looking to do something a little different on their stag weekend in Leeds should make their way to the nearby Yorkshire Dales and check out some of the most spectacular countryside on the planet.

A spokesperson from VisitBritain claims that the national park is an area of wonderful natural beauty, meaning boys on a Leeds stag weekendcould enjoy it before hitting the centre of Leeds for booze-fuelled antics.

"The Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales are two of our national parks and have some of the most spectacular countryside in the world. Both also have literary connections - Beatrix Potter and the Brontes," the representative says.

Those guys going on a stag weekend in Edinburgh, meanwhile, can take in some of that city's fantastic heritage attractions while celebrating their mate's last few days as a free man, the spokesperson adds.

In other news, boys on a stag night in Leeds can take advantage of cheap hotel rooms thanks to a new promotion from Visit Leeds which sees many abodes reduced to just £10 a night.
