Enjoy quality fish and chips on your Blackpool stag weekend

After a heavy evening of drinking and dancing on their mate's stag weekend in Blackpool, lads will want to head to the nearest fish and chips shop.

Sales of the popular dish have risen by ten per cent in the resort, the Daily Mirror reports, which highlights the quality of the food and may encourage boys on a Blackpool stag weekend to get some after a night on the tiles.

Bill Crook, from the National Federation of Fish Fryers, told the news provider that punters cannot get enough of a nice cod and chips.

"Sales of fish and chips may be going down generally but not at the coast. Shops in places like Blackpool and Scarborough are incredibly busy," he stated.

Another classic lads on a stag night in Blackpool may want to enjoy is the town's famous rock, which has also seen a spike in sales in recent months as demand has gone through the roof.

In other news, Coleen Nolan, writing in the Daily Mirror, recently claimed Blackpool is re-establishing itself as a UK holiday hotspot.
