Liverpool legends to roll back the years in Newquay

Some of the greatest names to have ever pulled on the shirt of Liverpool Football Club will roll back the years at a special game in Newquay next month, boys planning a stag weekend in Newquay will be interested to hear.

Former Kop idols Jan Molby, Mark Walters and John Wark will all lace up their boots and take to the pitch at Mount Wise on August 9th for a match organised by Arsenal Soccer School director of coaching John Hodge.

The Liverpool legends will play a select XI which will include ex-pros such as Scott Hiley, Chris Morris, Richard Sneekes and Kevin Miller, meaning lads on a stag weekend in Newquay can watch a host of heroes take a trip down memory lane.

Hodge told thisiswesternmorningnews.co.uk that the whole occasion is shaping up to be a brilliant event.

"It is a fantastic opportunity for Liverpool fans - and football fans in general - from the West country to see their heroes on their own doorstep," he said.

In other news, those flying to a Newquay stag night can look forward to a more luxurious experience following the opening of a new executive lounge at Newquay Cornwall Airport.
