Brand new beach for Blackpool stag parties to enjoy
Beach lovers heading on a stag weekend in Blackpool can look forward to a brand new beach on the promenade where they can simply chill, play volleyball or swim.
Europe Minister Glenys Kinnock opened the sandy stretch, which has been built using 5,000 tonnes of local sand, last Thursday.
Lads on a Blackpool stag weekend will be able to sip beer and enjoy the beach 24 hours a day until August 17th.
Doug Garrett, from ReBlackpool, which created the stretch, claims boys on a stag party in Blackpool can have a great time on it.
"This new beach will offer a unique opportunity to residents and visitors to enjoy the thrills and spills of beach volleyball, football and basketball regardless of whether the tide is in or out," he says.
Boys on a Blackpool stag night will also find lots of people partying the night away, with Emma Hall, from The Stretton Hotel on North Promenade, telling the Blackpool Gazette that a vibrant, more youthful clientele is visiting the resort.
