Sheffield "could get observation wheel"

Lads planning a stag weekend in Sheffield in the near future could be able to go on a brand new observation wheel, which could be erected next month.

Similar to the London Eye and the observation wheels in Manchester and York, the structure will boast 42 gondolas which can hold eight boys out on a Sheffield stag party.

A decision on the project is expected today and a report to be considered by councillors points out that the wheel could do wonders for tourism, which could include attracting boys celebrating their mate's final few days of freedom with a Sheffield stag weekend.

"The presence of these structures in these locations is widely regarded as a success in terms of attracting increased visitors to centres and adding to their vitality and viability," the report states.

In other stag party news, research by insurance firm LV= recently found that many lads are planning to cut the amount of money they spend on wedding gifts, which could mean they will have more cash to splash on the stag night in Sheffield.
