Blackpool "is attracting a younger crowd"
These days, boys heading away for a stag weekend in Blackpool will not find old ladies pottering about the place or middle-aged couples enjoying a few days away as the resort is attracting a much younger crowd, it has been claimed.
Emma Hall, from The Stretton Hotel on North Promenade, told the Blackpool Gazette that the number of people visiting the area has increased compared to last year and it is a more vibrant and youthful bunch who are going there.
She said the weekends are particularly busy, which means lads on Blackpool stag weekends may need to book early to avoid disappointment.
"We have definitely noticed an increase in visitor numbers from last year, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. I would say it is younger people that tend to come for short breaks but we do see a range of people," Ms Hall told the news provider.
In other news, boys planning a stag party in Blackpool can visit its famous beach, which the Telegraph recently named among Britain's best.
