Newquay airport enjoying a boom time

Lads planning to fly to a Newquay stag night will find they land at an airport which is in tip-top condition and getting better all the time, according to one website.

As well as brand-spanking new facilities, the hub has seen passenger traffic shoot up by 15 per cent, meaning boys out on a stag weekend in Newquay can expect lots of people to be around, Travelbite.co.uk reports.

The airport now has a capacity to deal with 700,000 people per year, making travel to a Newquay stag weekend more convenient.

Chris Cain, project director, told the website that all the work that has gone into the hub has not gone unnoticed.

"Passengers have been extremely supportive of the airport. The transition from [a] military to civilian airport has been an ambitious project," he said.

While on a stag weekend in Newquay, gents can look forward to lots of different things to do, including fun on the beach and in the region's many bars.
