French flavour for Blackpool

Lads considering whether to have a stag weekend in Blackpool can see what the resort looks like before they get their thanks to a new video aimed at attracting visitors.

Blackpool je t'aime is a promotional video on YouTube featuring a French woman and her English boyfriend who reveal the sophisticated side of the destination, highlighting the areas of beauty and fun.

The beach, fairground rides and some and eateries are all included in the footage, giving blokes planning a Blackpool stag weekend the chance to see what they are in for.

Something else lads on a stag night in Blackpool can look forward to are upmarket hotel rooms to stay in.

Claire Smith, owner of a bed and breakfast, said guests are asking for more sophisticated suites.

"There are two things we are looking into at the moment, iPod docking stations, and they're getting very fussy about their coffee, so coffee machines in the rooms," she stated.
