Birmingham stag weekend filled with sports

Guys embarking on a stag weekend to Birmingham should make sure some of the city's sport is included in their festivities.

Husbands-to-be who like to stay active can make the most of the Birmingham's honour as the National City of Sport, with activities ranging from greyhound racing to paintball tournaments and whitewater rafting.

Those organising the event can even get a race named after the stag at the dogs and sample the luxury of a private box and a photo of the race's cup being presented to the winner.

Guys looking for a more traditional stag night in Birmingham after the day's activities can head to the bars and clubs of the city and even take a comedy evening.

The city is home to a number of venues, including Summerrow, which has Apres and Mechu.
